   If you are looking for purebreed puppies, you aren't gonna find them anywhere under 300 dollars. And 300 is stretching it!

   if you aren't particular about breed – go online to find your nearest humane society – they have puppies for about $150 that already have all their shots.

   Cheap puppies – that doesn't sound good.

   If you mean a puppy that won't cost a fortune that goes to a breeder, please consider your local shelters and rescues.

   Go to Animal Services, the Humane Society, the ASPCA and adopt. Just make sure you can afford the vaccinations for a puppy in its first year – or get a grown, already neutered or spayed dog, then you only have to pay for annual vaccinations.

   Dogs deserve care and good food, so it is more than just paying for a puppy.

   The animal shelter or rescue groups. Sometimes they take in a pregnant dog and need to find homes for the puppies. You should also check out all local papers and bulletin boards at petsmart & petco, etc. Vet clinics too!

    you can adopt a dog. but if you are looking for a specific kind talk to a breeder. pet stores jack up prices to make a profit. plus with a breeder you can get 'pet quality' puppies who arn't needed for show dogs and this way you can judge the temperment of the parents.

    is an excellent source for finding pets in every city. You can look at pictures of the pet and read about it. There is a fee as with all adoptions to cover spaying/neutering, vaccinations, and sometimes a microchip for indentification. The fee is much less than you would pay to buy a pet from a breeder. Adopting a homeless pet will save a life and make you feel great about yourself in return!

    Just get in contact with your nearest animal shelter. They always are looking for good homes for stray and abandoned animals. Pick one out that will fit in with your personality and you'll be so happy.

    Puppies are expensive, and even you get a cheap one, you still have to pay for vet bills, food, toys, beds, treats, etc.. Owning a dog is not cheap
